Megan Oswald: Surgical Assistant at North Sound Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

Megan – Surgical Assistant & Practice Manager

Megan joined our team in 2018. She holds all the cards! Megan is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, endorsed by the State of Washington in venipuncture (starting IV’s and drawing blood), and certified by the Dental Anesthesia Assistant Certification Program. Furthermore, Megan is an expert office administrator, well versed in the rigors of dental insurance matters, scheduling,

 and treatment planning. Megan is fluent with everything involving oral surgery and dentistry. She graduated from Lake Washington Technical College with an associate’s degree in Dental Assisting. When not working, Megan and her husband, Paul, love being parents to their toddler, Penelope, When time permits, they enjoy trying new food and vacationing at the most magical place on earth (we hope you can guess where that is!).

Michelle V: Office Administrator at {PRACTICE_NAME}

Michelle – Office Manager

Michelle has been working in Dental Office Administration since 2020. She took over as manager of North Sound Oral Surgery’s “Front Desk” early in 2022. With great attention to detail, Michelle deals with the multiple responsibilities of running a health care office. We (and you) can count on Michelle to manage and oversee communication with patients and their families, dental & medical offices, and third party payers. Michelle and the administrative team schedule consultations and surgical procedures, She is keenly aware and respectful of our patient’s time, and she takes immense pride in developing and implementing efficient systems. As a lifelong learner, Michelle has a broad and comprehensive knowledge of all things Oral Surgery.

Larissa E:  Lead Surgical Assistant at {PRACTICE_NAME}

Larisa – Lead Surgical Assistant

Larisa has been assisting in surgical dentistry since 2015, and took over as the Lead Surgical Assistant at North Sound Oral Surgery in 2022. She is sharp as a tack; extraordinarily intelligent, organized, and trustworthy. Larissa’s competence as a surgical assistant is matched by her interpersonal skills. Warm, kind, and reassuring, Larissa is keenly aware of all the little things which help ensure the comfort and safety of our patients. Larisa is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life support, and certified by the Dental Anesthesia Assistant Certification Program. She also holds an endorsement from the State of Washington to perform venipuncture (start IV’s and draw blood).

Kayla M: Surgical Assistant at {PRACTICE_NAME}

Kayla – Surgical Assistant

Kayla has been an oral surgery assistant since 2012. Warm, friendly, and compassionate, she naturally makes patient safety and comfort her top priority. Each and every patient will have their experience enhanced by Kayla’s knowledge and expertise. Kayla has a knack for prioritizing with great accuracy, and has a strong ability to think several steps ahead. Her personality and skill set make her an ideal surgical assistant and co-worker at North Sound Oral Surgery. Kayla is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, DAANCE, and has an endorsement from the State of Washington for venipuncture (starting IV’s and drawing blood).

 
Rhonda: Insurance Coordinator at North Sound Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

Rhonda – Patient Care & Insurance Coordinator

Originally from Wyoming, Rhonda has been living in Seattle area for nearly 30 years. She has an extensive background in banking, finance, and office management. She takes great pride in helping patients understand and navigate insurance benefits, and treatment plans. Outside of the office, Rhonda and her husband are avid golfers.

Patty – Surgical Assistant

Patty has worked in dentistry for 13 years, starting with general dentistry. She then worked as an orthodontic assistant for a number of years, and has since advanced to oral surgery. She joined North Sound OMFS in 2022. She assists with procedures in the office as well as with operating room cases in the hospital. She enjoys cooking authentic Mexican food, spending time with family, gym workouts, and holiday festivities. She is fluent in English and Spanish.

Mary – Surgical Assistant

Mary has worked as a dental assistant for 10 years. She joined North Sound OMFS in 2023 and has found her passion with oral surgery assisting. She enjoys spending time with family and her dog name Oakley, playing pickleball, comedy movies, baking authentic Russian desserts, and is an avid car enthusiast. She is fluent in English and Russian.
